The head coach of the Academy has 30 years experience of playing and coaching tennis.  Danny gained his first coaching award with the LTA in 1986. Danny then  graduated from the Adrian Stonebridge Tennis Academy in Surrey in 1990 as a Stonebridge Tennis Teaching Professional. In 2005 Danny became a PTR (Professional Tennis Registry-USA) Professional Tennis Coach and in 2012 he became a PTR Performance Professional - one of the very first to do so in this country. In 2017 Danny gained the LTA Level 4 Club Coach Award and is now a fully licenced full time tennis coach. Danny has held many prestigious coaching positions including:

  • Head coach for Timber Lake Camp in New York USA

  • Club Professional for Gore Court Tennis Club in Sittingbourne, Kent

  • Associate Lecturer of Tennis at Canterbury Christ Church University Team Coach

  • Chilham Tennis Club Tennis Professional

  • Kings School Recreation Centre, Canterbury Tennis Professional

  • Rochester Grammar School for Girls Tennis Coach

  • Medway City Council development squad.

  • And many other coaching contracts at various schools and clubs throughout Kent and Surrey.

  • Director of the Danny Wynne Tennis Academy.

Danny has coached thousands of tennis players with many reaching county champion level with  some going on to compete on the British Tour. Several of his former students are now full time tennis coaches. 

Playing tennis has been his life and Danny competed at the pre-qualifying for Wimbledon in 1994, competed on the British Tour in many singles events and also played in the Kent County Premier Division. 




Sue competed at the National Tennis Finals in 1997 and has played in tennis tournaments throughout Kent and the South East.  Sue is a full time secondary school teacher in Canterbury, has a superb playing style and is brilliant at teaching children because of her positive and friendly approach.
