Our courses are run during term time and in the holidays.

Age 5 to 9: Mini Red/ Orange

The general concept of the course is to teach sound technical tennis strokes which include the forehand, the backhand, the service, the volley, the rally, good and correct footwork, the smash, correct grips for all strokes, the basic concept of spin with all strokes , fitness,  ball skills, constructive games, basic tactical awareness, the tennis court and its space. All sessions are full of fun and games and at the same time child safety and health are most essential.

For each session we have a competitive element -the best player for example could be thehardest worker, the best at concentration, the best footwork, the best strokes, best attitude etc. For this and at each session the juniors compete for a trophy.

Age 10 to 12: Mini Orange/ Green/ Junior

Improving our coordination and feeling more confident about our tennis and playing some singles and doubles. These sessions will be for an hour to an hour and a half and once again will run during term time and holidays. Saturday and Wednesday sessionscontain the same elements as the younger age group with a little more emphasis upon rallying, more emphasis on spin (cause and effect) more competitive games, increasing tactical awareness- slightly increasing the fitness side of the session but not losing the fun part.

Age 13 to 16: Junior.

We are starting to play some competitive singles and doubles with these sessions lasting for an hour and a half and up to two hours. Growing in confidence and feeling much stronger about our tennis- technical development, enhancing spin, improved tactical skills, basic psychology , improved fitness, greater rallying skills. These sessions are becoming more like squad sessions with everyone working hard and developing their skills.
